Even though this was an online class, I still felt pretty connected to this professor. His directions and syllabus were very clear and warranted few questions from me personally. Just a discussion board every two weeks with a full week to complete it. Also 4 total papers over the semester 1 page each. It was a very easy A.

One of the best professors I ever had. Thoroughly knowledgeable on material. I took two classes with him and both were interesting and very educational. He is kind, polite, and fair. I highly recommend.

Good course about AIDS in literature. Great for getting the upper level english requirement out of the way. Would have liked some feedback on my final papers, but all said and done it's a good class, and not terribly hard. Just do the readings, show up to class, post on the discussion board over 4 times, and you should be fine.

There's alot of work involved though, but if you do it, you will make a good grade. The only thing that bothered me was even though I took this online, I felt that he never really talked to us in posts or anything. He gave the assignments and you did them. No lecture notes. I wish he would have given his own opinions sometime!

I had him for both HIS 1010 and 1080 same semester as online classes. A lot of reading but interesting reading, the discussion boards were very interesting as well. You won't be bored in this class. He really cares about his students and wants you to do well, answers all questions/emails promptly. I would take any class that he taught!!

Online class. Discussion forums were enjoyable, although I wish he would have cracked down more on those who simply repeat others' comments on the boards. I thought this was a great class. I took it online and when I had any questions, he was very responsive and helpful. He answered emails in a timely manner and was just a very nice professor. I highly recommend him for anyone who has to take a history course. (Also, what is witht this "hot or not" feature? Ha! It is kind of weird). Since I had him for a online course, I cannot say what he looks like.
