I didn't consider myself a great writer, or tech-savy, but I truely enjoyed taking this class online. He is very clear with the writing assignments and what the grading criteria is. It was a little challenging but as long as you stick with it and get your assignments done each week you should do just fine. :)

@ Eng1020 sad face..what do you expect college to be?? No professor is supposed to "cut you some slack." Neal is very helpful..and maybe if you'd applied yourself more you wouldn't have complained on here about a B-. If you hate English or aren't good with it, a B- is still good. Relax..he's one of the 5 best professors on campus.

One of the greatest teachers i've ever had. Extremely knowledgeable but also very helpful. he is very dry and witty but also serious when it counts. develops personal relationships with students and is always nice to talk to in the halls. definately dont pass up his class and keep an open mind

Hands down, best teacher I've had - and I include OCC and Scraft in that rating! He is very detailed and specific, so that can be tough, but you will learn from it. Constantly goofing around lightens up the fact that he has high expectations and pushes you to do better than your best. Look forward to his classes. Neal, here's your chili pepper!

This class was an amazing online class. It was fairly easy, but I still learned a lot. It's not boring because Neal has a great sense of humor that he shows through his power points and YouTube videos. He explains assignments clearly and he grades fairly.
