Dr. De Luca has helped with so much more than just forensics. He genuinely cares about his students. His classes are pretty easy if you pay attention and ask questions. He does make you do the work, but overall they are pretty easy going courses. Team De Luca all the way!

If you're truly dedicated to becoming a forensic scientist, ignore every review on this page. DeLuca thinks in forensic science and he can be hard to follow for someone who isn't in the forensics state of mind. But if you are you will love him. This program is his life. His forensics majors are his children and he truly cares about us. Team DeLuca!

De Luca cares so much about his program and his forensics majors. He puts so much time and effort into making sure you have what you need to succeed. He is a unique man so his lectures aren't for everyone, but if you are truly meant to be a forensic scientist you will understand exactly where he is coming from. He is 100% the most dedicated prof!

DON'T BUY HIS BOOKS! In any of his classes, save yourself the money and DON'T buy them because you won't use them, ever! You won't even open them the whole quarter! He's wasting my money and it really made me mad, and he doesn't teach! Yes his classes are very easy but you don't learn anything!

This is the only of his classes that I felt I actually learned anything. Unfortunately, most of it was from Dr. Davies. He taught Toxicology and I know I won't remember anything once we take the final. There also wasn't enough for everyone to do in lab so a lot of us just ended up sitting around.

He's probably the smartest individual in the bio department but he's also the most disorganized. He never emailed us the midterm so our whole grade depended on a 5 question final exam (even tho it was take-home and simple). He favors some students over others and I don't like that. Otherwise he's pretty helpful and does care.

I'm surprised. I rated him for 219 and he made a HUGE improvement. He started making powerpoint notes (not the best, they're straight from the book), but it's a start and he stopped RAMBLING so much. I honestly wonder if someone spoke up or he read the professor ratings. Since he's improved he gets a higher rating now.
