Hipple is the most disrespectful teacher i have encountered in my life, he name calls, insults you and will interrupt his lecture to embarrass you in front of the whole class. He gives 4 question quizzes on the most random things. His lectures are crazy, super fast & doodling on the board. I kid you not the class looks at each other in confusion.

He's one of the worst professor's I've had. a lot of note taking but test don't match his lectures At all Extremely rude and wont help his students . I tired going to his office hours but he just tells you its all in the book and turns you away. I felt like my class got the worst of it test 4 and final on the same day it didn't end well for us.

Stay away!!! The worst professor Ive ever taken. As soon as he walks in hes in lecture mode. Talks really low so you cant hear him too well and all of his notes are his terrible drawings. He gives you a study guide thats not on the exam. Worst experience

Professor Hipple does not know how to teach his material. He made what should be a simple topic and class very difficult on tests. He does give a study list, however it is very broad and often does not have anything to do with his tests.

Professor has been the worst experience I've had here at Miami Dade College. There's only three tests, which are 100 percent handwritten and the material you read and study does not translate well on his tests. He also teaches with a 10+ year old book which trying to find the book is near impossible. He sometimes doesn't attend his office hours too

This prof is actually great. If you do your part and study you will pass since you do have to earn your grade. His lectures are good, writes notes to everything on the board MAKE SURE TO COPY ALL OF IT EVEN THE PICTURES. He always gives study guides that are all in the test unless said so. If you show you care he will help. Would take him again.

Terrible prof. As much as he updates you on your grades in the class, he isn't of any help. He begins lecturing and doesn't stop for questions. He tends to mumble, making it harder to understand. Book is useless. The only good thing about this class was the fact that if you do catch his notes, you'll do fine on his exams and his extra credit quiz.

Prof gives quizzes class before exam; there's 4 questions, each worth 2 points. Get them right and you have an easy 8 bonus points + the bonus questions he gives at the end of each exam. He offers a list of study TERMS for each exam, define them & create a study guide. Go to class & take good notes. Study your notes & his terms & you'll do well.

I would never take this class again! EVER!!! The professor is extremely boreing and doesn't know how to teach. The test are NOTHING like his lectures in class and doesn't give any extra credit or homework. We doesn't use a book but tells you to buy it anyways. All he does is draw on the bored and doesn't even explain correctly. He doesn't help you!

This was the last class i needed in order to get my AA and i will be here another semester. The minute he steps into class he is in lecture mode and if you don't copy everything down... prepare to fail. Your grades only come from quizzes and tests that look nothing like his lecture notes or the book. Do yourself a favor and choose someone else.

Take notes/ take pictures of diagrams and study. Then study some more. It's a challenging course, but like any course, if you study, take good notes and pay attention to lectures you'll do fine. If you think you can pass just by showing up (most people) you're going to fail.

Worst experience with this professor. Test are nothing like his lectures. Walks straight into class without even saying hello and is already writing on the board. All he does is lecture the entire class time and draw figures on the board. If you ask him a question he says he will answer later and he never does. Do not take my only C in college.

This professor is amazing. He teaches everything in detail and draws things out for you. Everything he talks about in class and in the study guide is on the test. Make sure you write everything he says and draws down and be respectful, he can't stand stupidity. I learned a lot from his class.

Probably the worst professor I've ever taken. He knows a lot about the subject, but has no clue on how actually TEACH it. There is no material other than his lectures, and your grade is solely dependent on his tests and their corresponding quizzes. Nice guy but has passive-aggressive tendencies. Don't do it to yourself. Get someone else.

At the beginning of the semester he claims that you should not purchase the textbook because the lectures will be enough. Test time comes and the lectures have NOTHING to do with it then he claims that we should have read the text. Constantly talks down to MDC students, does not offer help at all. "It's our fault if we don't pass not his." Terrible

Nice prof, smart man but not a good teacher. exams are difficult and have nothing to do with class lectures. you can NEVER stop taking notes in this class. I'm good at science and am passing by a literal thread.

Awful professor! I am not the type of student to criticize a professor for how he/she teaches, but this man cannot teach. PERIOD. No Powerpoints to work with, no study guide, each test has absolutely NOTHING to do with his lectures, etc. I failed this class because of this man and I am taking the same class online. Currently passing with a B.

if you not interested in earth science but just want to pass this is not the professor, only exam and quiz, laugh at you when you ask him for help, he says "study longer" talks only about his students he travel with, you learn more watching utube, be prepare 2 test for final and 2 quiz for final all in the same week, a lot of students fail
