My advisor as well as professor, great guy who cares and knows his stuff. pretty easy class and very lenient if you have an issue with attendance or due dates just talk to him. taking him again my last semester cuz I know he's good and shouldn't be too hard. take m if ur a soc major or just for core. lots of reading and class discussion in class

The best teacher I have ever had. He is funny and interesting. Class is extremely interesting and he makes it fun. You will not want to miss this class. Quiz every friday but review sessions right before where he will give very strong hints on what you need to know. Can be a tough grader on papers but you will learn a lot and have a great time.

Hodgson is a great teacher, he really wants you to get into the work and understand it. there is a lot of reading for each week bc of the quizes every friday but the reading is really interesting, also he has people review in front of the class (voluntarily) before the quiz, he basically tells you whats on each one, he just wants everyone to do wel

Nice guy. He has a test every week on fridays. it is really annoying cause it is a ton of reading every week. The tests are easy if u read though. he has a review period right before and pratically gives you the questions and answers. His classes are a little boring. Gives you an option to do a project instead of the final which is nice.

Awesome prof and, even more importantly, an awesome person. You will learn a lot, but have fun learning at the same time. At the end of the semester we had to write about how we think our life will turn out by age 65. I wrote some very personal things that I honestly would not have written if I had a different prof. Quite an open-minded guy.
