I learned a lot from Mr. Pyne. I had no idea about economics going into this course, and I got an 'A'. He made it very interesting, giving great examples. If you put in the effort, you'll do fine.

Dr. Pyne really trys hard and is very clear on the topics we are covering and explians everything in detail. He also takes everything from the book and assignments for test so that rewards those working hard. He is a really hard marker though so I guess that balances it out. Bad Rap is not necessary.

He does try and scare the class and I think he makes the exams tricky unpurpose. I'm doing just fine in the class but it does take work to understand the concepts. The best thing you could do is go to the classes!!! Don't buy the study guide...an online version comes with the textbook.

He does speak with a lisp & does not explain things (all overheads and just reads from them) but you do have to attend class. I think thats most of peoples problem they miss class and don't read the chapters or do the work. come on people this aint highschool anymore quit complaining for no reason.

Horrible teacher. Can't talk, VERY VERY annoying. Rushes through EVERYTHING! And for those of you out there who think people rate him bad because they are doing poorly in the course, I'm doing just fine. Stay away from this man if you can!!!
