Comment:
The Profs notes make very little sense and are very hard to follow, examples in the notes pull numbers out of no where making it very hard to understand. She does not give nearly enough time to write the tests she gives, and all the tests are very hard to do well on even if you study. Avoid this class if possible it is not worth the stress.

This was a dull class, the material isn't particularly interesting. I unlearned acid base chemistry in this class, she was really a new level of bad for this unit. She does try to keep things interesting with her joke of the day though! May the bell curve be ever in your favour!

It's a tough and dull course but she really does a great job. Goes out of her way to learn students names and make the process as enjoyable as possible! Really enjoyed her, will take future courses she teaches!

She's a nice person overall, she's usually smiling and she's even helpful when you ask her questions in the office. But like other people has said, her notes are dull.. the lecture is dull.. I do think it's helpful to go to her class regardless to write solutions to questions in the note. The test and exam is open book after all.

I sort of wish i had stopped going to her classes and just read the texbook. The inclass notes were useless to me and I found myself very bored with the material and would zone out and remember nothing. She tells a joke of the day though. She is a really nice person but I just couldn't learn anything from her.

Dr. Beauchemin is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and really wants he students to succeed. Unfortunately, her notes are very busy and difficult to follow. She moves through material very quickly (which is understandable, as 213 is a very dense course), which makes learning difficult.

Without a Doubt, the worst professor I have had at Queens. Thank you for picking an excellent textbook, since the teaching led to confused students who came out knowing less and feeling incompetent. Seems to be oblivious to her clear incompetence.

Since she has changed the layout of the course, 411 is amazing. It was super easy. Class average was 80. It includes weekly individual(25%) and group(15%) tests which only cover the material from the two previous lectures as well as a presentation (20%) and a final (40%). Best 4th year class at Queen's
