Comment:

Took this class during Fall 2012. If you don't like music nor studying, you won't pass this class. Also she moves very quick with the chapters which makes is a bit complicated and stressful to manage the class. She is a great piano player and she is fair in grading. I could have done better. Just try to pass 4 test and do all assignments for points

Overall I really liked the class. I found the explanations very clear, although I noticed, that if someone asks a bit more complicated question, teacher has trouble understanding it. I liked the chosen pieces, that we played. Just one negative-when we played something for the first time, we would start way to fast, and most people couldn't play.

She's a cool teacher. She's funny. All there is too it is to listen very closely and jot down notes, ask questions when you don't understand. The sites she told us to visit to practice help a lot also. The only thing is that she speaks quite fast thats why you ask questions. Being present is a must, if you miss a day is like missing a whole chapter

I knew nothing about this class before I took it, its all about reading sheet music. She is an amazing pianist, she really knows a lot about music. But she doesn't teach in an easy way. I felt out of my league, even though Im a decent guitar player it didn't help at all.

Hardest class ever!!! Ch's 1-4 = easy as hell. Once you get on ch.5, it's downhill from there. However, I lost focus by ch. 5 and finally regained it before the final. So I managed to pass with a B-..also cuz i failed...FAILED...the 3rd test, and did good on the final. If you're good at focusing and like music, take this class. She's..eh..okay.

Dude. I swear, if you cannot pass this class, you might have an EXTREME problems in somewhere. I know her class is kind of boring, but I strongly suggest take her class. Especially my case, I didn't study much because I was a music tutor in my country. Her class is Easy 2 get a A+++++ 4 everybody.

Very nice lady, although she has a mean side, that sometimes seems to be geared towards other women. She is very knowlegable in music, and very talented. She is helpful too, but her class is not the easiest of classes. :)

Really nice but her enlish is hard to understand and the material is very hard. I really wish I had taken another music class. I took this because it was worth 3 units, but in the end, I probably am going to get a c or a b, even though I tried really hard, and I have A's in all my"hard" classes. She has no office or time, so go to tutor w/4 help.
