This class is super tough. Its important to ask tons of questions in class or you will be lost. Don't worry about sounding dumb, nobody knows whats happening in that class. If you ask enough questions though, he will help you on the projects and preparing for the exam. He's super sweet, but get ready for a really difficult class.

Dr. Rinewalt is a human code-compiler - can code anything on the spot from memory without any bugs! His courses are VERY tough, but he does a good job. It's not his fault, but his voice really does hypnotically put you to sleep! Get lots of sleep and drink caffeine in order to pay attention - would not recommend him at 8am due to the sleep risk!

Dr. Rinewalt knows his stuff. He can be hard to listen to in class sometimes, but he is generally quite helpful and receptive to questions. You won't get an easy 'A' out of his class, however.

Dr. Rinewalt knows his material. Many of the students coming from the 10403 class found this course to be overwhelming and rightfully so. Dr. Rinewalt expects the students to care about his class and to work hard since it is only required for COSC and CITE majors. He works fast to cover a ton of material that is useful for future computer classes.

Lectures tend to be boring, but cod is emailed. By email he answers questions very quickly an clearly. Sometime he will almost write the lab for you if you ask the right questions. Tests are a bit hard even with all your notes and the book.
