DeLuca's class was so hard..she didn't help much. You either had to know it or you were screwed..she didn't really care.

Would not recommend taking her class. She forgets everyone is not fluent in Spanish and talks in it for most of the class. Gives tests that have little or nothing to do with what she talked about in class.

For ur own good, just STAY AWAY! Not only is she ahard teacher, she can be a total ****. She expects u to kno everything bc its not sp101 and if u ask her a question she gets rude and impatient. She should not be allowed to teach. She had to drop our first test bc everyone failed....hellloo isnt that a sign that u need to make things easier??

I am very good at languages, but I didn't start taking Spanish until college, and Dr. DeLuca seems to forget that her class is an introductory course to Spanish. She assumes we all know Spanish, and her English is VERY hard to understand. She is a nice person though.

She was hard. but she really did want you to learn. Plus if you went to her office for help she most likely gave you what was on the test to study

If you never took Spanish before, you'll be lost because although she speaks fluent English, it's muffled. If you took 3-4 years of Spanish in high school she's pretty easy.
