I'm halfway through the semester with this instructor and I am really struggling. He does not provide feedback what-so-ever and has been marking me down for things that I know I should've received full credit on. He is very discouraging as a teacher and he is making it very difficult for me to succeed. I officially hate Humanities.

He is ok overall, doesn't respond quickly to emails or gives feedback on work. Class requires reading up to 3 chapters, discussion post, a quiz weekly, attend concert, write 2 papers and final is quiz and essay. Discussion post grades are always all over, cant really tell exactly what he wants. Do the basics and you can pass with at least a B.

Hate the class, you have a week to read 3-4 chapters which is relativity boring, 20 mins for 10 question quiz *If you dont like to read I'd recommend looking in the index for key words when taking the test* But reading some of the chapter will help out. Discussions on music from youtube are due every week which he grades as if they're english paper

Overall he is a good professor. Irritating on the discussion grading - but if you ask, he would probably tell you. He always responded to my email. My advice, do the discussion ASAP and then read the material, then take the test. It was tough at first, until I developed a system. Don't let the terminology scare you. It really is not hard.

I find that Aquila was very unclear on how he graded any discussion boards. I would go from 4.9 to 2.3 for no reason. Also, getting in contact with him is nearly impossible. The material he uses online is out of date and pointless. He may have a link to a website but the site is down, ect. I would never recommend him!

This is not for people who enjoy listening to music. While the text states that its not necessary to know how to play an instrument, the language and terms used are too advanced for novice listeners. Out of 15 courses this was the only class I've struggled with. Tests are too short and extremly difficult.BAIL OUT NOW!

VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY EASY CLASS!!!! I'm still currently in his ONLINE class and it is a VERY easy A. You get one assignment a week in the discussion board then all you have to do is reply to two other postings then you have a 10 question quiz. Two papers. the only problem is he doesnt answer your emails fast enough

"it is satisfactory for the assignment" He wasnt very helpful in the responces, but the class was so easy that his answers didnt matter. Id be surprised if he even read my final papers. This man is unbearable. I have him for Music Appreciation Online. I was recently penalized on a test for spelling something CORRECTLY. After approaching the professor about the error on the test, he refused to award me credit, despite evidence that I was right. He is indescribably rude. One of the worst profs I've ever had!

This guy is awful. I'm currently in his Music Appreciation Online class, and he's absolutely the worst teacher ever. He doesn't care about his students, and his e-mails are extremely rude. He's very pretentious and acts like he's so perfect, but he's absolutely awful. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I hope I never have this guy again.

I had an online class with him and lets just stay he is useless. He made more mistakes on quizes and posting assignments than any prof I ever had. His 1st two quizes were out of a different addition textbook, he had questions that were not covered. I kept all his boneheaded emails to me. This guy thinks he's #1, major loser as a prof.

I have this professor for 2 online classes this semester. I find him to be absolutley no help and extremely rude. This is the last week of class and he has not graded my work in a month and a half. When I emailed him, he wouldn't respond until I found in the syllabus how to properly adress him. DO NOT TAKE ANY OF HIS CLASSES!
