Honestly, his class is very difficult. Tried asking him a question after class, all he told me was he doesn't know. Plus, made me feel like he just wanted to leave. Late one time for a minute because my car broke down, and nope! still marked me absent. Test and such are difficult.

Never lets you forget his service history, randomly alternating levity with drill-sergeant rhetoric; but never without a dash of the put-upon, "kids these days" mentality. Someone who is too elderly to be cognizant of his surroundings, and who can'tor won'tadopt an appropriate post-military attitude has no place in a civilian instructional role.

Borden is the nicest guy but his class is tough you really need to read the book, take good notes, and study like crazy before his tests. The tests are tough but he is willing to meet you during office hours if you need any help.

Borden is old school! He is an amazing professor though. If you show up and do your work you'll leave his class knowing your sh*t! If you don't show up, he doesn't really care and your grade will reflect it. I really enjoyed his class and would take his classes again if I had to. I think our child psych class started at 26 and ended at 14...

As long as you stud your notes religiously and take god detailed notes you'll be fine attendance is important and he is always helpful to clarify things. cumulative exams from start to finish. great guy, not always the most entertaining but has a moderate pace

Awesome instructor. Really enjoyed his class. If you take good notes and review them, pay attention, and participate in class, you'll do fine, But if you don't put the effort, don't expect a good grade.He is willing to help you, but ONLY if you ask. I would definitely take another class by him.
