Very good teacher! Loves the subject he is teaching, very nice and amusing, teaches very clearly and tells you exactly what you do & do not need to know for tests. Attendance is not mandatory at all, you can skip as much as you want. Must put out some effort & study but it's not hard to get a decent grade. Should take for science credit.

Very friendly! He teaches directly from his powerpoints so it makes studying for tests fairly easy. He never takes attendance but does occasionally award extra credit for those who show up!

Pretty easy class as long as you study powerpoints. I took beginning geology. He made it somewhat intresting. Usually lets you out early and lots of skip days. Read to help clarify his lectures. Most quiz questions are from the old tests he gives you. USE THOSE!! About 10 questions from exams are taken from old tests. TAKE HIM.

I thought that he was really nice and kind and sweet, however, his tests I thought were difficult!! No matter if I studied all weekend, or just the night before, I made the EXACT same grade - 82. I didn't think it was TOO hard, but it should have been easier. Lots of videos in class and boring lectures. Don't take if you don't have to.
