he answer questions, but sometimes you will still feel confusing about the words he answered. the stuff on lecture videos and slides are really basic, you need to spend a lot more time on your own to go through the text note by yourself, otherwise the assignments gonna make you suffer a lot.

His pace was far slower than it should've been, given that the course was Probability (Advanced Level). Even so, he often managed to ramble on about anecdotes of his or examples of how to apply concepts. In principle, I think examples are a good thing, but I found his attempts to illuminate things did exactly the opposite in most cases.

Excellent professor, by far my favourite last term (along with J.P. Pretti for computer science). Funny, explains well, patient. Everything you could want out of a prof. Study and you'll be fine for the tests.

I don't think his overall rating does him justice - at least not in STAT230, especially if his lectures were recorded, like they were this term. If you read the material before his class, or read it after and then watch the recording of him teaching, it'll make perfect sense. Tests were not too hard. Praise the Don!
