One of the best teachers I've had yet. He is very fair and he responds back to you right away. His tests are not easy but he lets you choose three out of the four questions for the midterm and the final you have one question that is mandatory then you choose the other three. You must read the content in this course otherwise you will be lost.

He's great at explaining hard-to-follow concepts and he really does care about his students. if you are having trouble with something, then going to office hours really will help clarify things. Also, READ THE STUDENT PACKAGES. If you study the learning objectives well, you will go into the exam knowing exactly what's expected.

He's an amazing prof and cares about his students. Make sure to ask him questions and clarification so that you learn the material instead of trying to solve it with the textbook.

Don makes the difficult course of macroeconomics, easier to swallow. I took his online course and his office hours and accessibility are amazing. I couldn't always make it to his office hours so we ended up having phone calls during office hours which really helped. He truly cares about his students.

Don has been one of the best profs I've had. I don't really care for economics but he does a great job explaining the chapters and engaging the class. You can clearly tell that he is overall, just very passionate about what he is teaching. He provides student notes for every chapter which really helps study for exams.

Great teacher- READ THE STUDENT PACKAGES!!! Everything you need to know is in there. First, read the chapter, then read the student package and highlight important stuff. Go see Don in office hours with questions he will explain & he's good at explaining. Participate in class and he will like you; answer a question wrong and he will love you, lol.

Don is the best prof I've had. His midterms consist of 4 questions, from which you have to choose 3. He gives out student packages and all you gotta do is read through those and know the learning objectives and you'll be good to go! Also has online assignments. Midterms won't surprise you he tests only what he covers. Lectures are interesting.

Best Econ teacher, his exam format is the best, theres 4 questions each time and in those 4 questions theres 5-7 more questions. So for the first midterm say its chapters 1-4, you pick 3 questions and only 3 that you want to do, so to study for the midterm you can leave out a whole chapter, lets say chapter 4 is really hard, just pick questions 123

He's an amazing prof! Take him if you're able to. He provides you with all the notes and resources so you can come into class and actually listen to him and comprehend the knowledge instead of scrambling to write notes. His exams are mediocre(not easy but not tough). Just look at the sample exams he gives, they're very similar. Awesome prof!!

Don is an amazing prof. I would take any class he taught! Super smart and can explain things really well. His midterms are awesome, 4 questions you choose 3. Extremely fair marker, and his lectures are quite interesting. He relates the course to the real world. Many other profs should take some notes from Don. He's great!

I've taken both micro and macro with don now and he's the best prof i've had at kwantlen. his lectures are very thorough and he provides chapter notes with learning objectives and the learning objectives are exactly what are on his exams. Homework is every week, worth a small % but it definitely helps when it comes to the exam.

Great prof. He has office hours that he encourages you to use and he really does help if you use them. The class itself isn't overwhelming in course work. There is one written assignment and one online assignment per week ( they take about 20 minutes to complete each) and then 2 midterms and a final. Really enjoyed it. 10/10 would reccommend

Very helpful! My first online class. All assignments & quizzes were helpful & similar questions were on the midterms & final. There is a work load, two assignments a week, two midterms, & the final. His notes are really helpful as well. Do your readings & assignments, you'll pass easy. He adjusts grades to help you pass! Take him!!

Probably one of the best profs I've ever taken in University. He genuinely seems to understand students and loves the subject he speaks of. Studying is a must, but once you do, his tests are fairly straight forward. I wish he taught all my classes. And last but not least his personality is gold.

Weekly assignments and participation. Tests are very fair. He tells you what will be on them and lets you pick 3 of 4 questions. The material is very difficult so be prepared to study. He's nice and approachable.
