Dr. Wilson is as good as professors get: he is unfailing in his willingness to help, his marking is obscenely lenient, and he teaches with vigor -- how could you go wrong with this guy?

Sometimes had difficulty answering questions but was very committed to the class. I didn't learn much through the lectures, but I learnt a lot doing the assignments. It was a brutal class but considering the ammount I learnt it was worth it.

I think Wilson is fair. My only complaint is that there should have been 2 lectures devoted to seminars to go over MAPLE.

The most helpful prof i've ever met. Goes to great lengths to help. He taught us how to use a program Maple in the class, which many had trouble with. This may explain any bad reviews he might get for this class. The program was tricky but I found it very useful. I found his lectures dry but making a math approach interesting is always a challenge.

well he started out okay and his first test was easy..but then he decides to change the format and add mult choice questions which he makes as confusing as possible. He was really boring, he knew his stuff but seemed to make it a lot more confusing then it needed to be!!

Boring prof.. Sat there and wrote notes on the overhead the WHOLE class. He knew his stuff but it was hard to understand him, maybe easier for Econ majors. Tests were hard, Multiple choice definately not easy. Wouldn't recommend or take classes from him again.

He is the worst teacher in the entire University, he can't help anyone. He can't teach a single thing, I had to learn ECON 202 entirely on my own by reading the text. Other people needed tutors from friends. His exam's are thick in econ jargon and are real hard. Be prepared to hate this class and teacher.

Not a bad class. A lot of pointless note-taking though. Assignments and web-posted material are the only things you need to pay attention to. Goes too fast and writes too sloppy for class to be much use.

Subject was interesting, assignments weren't to hard, but he did mark alittle hard. But I found that he did not have the answers to many questions people had. I think he has been teaching too much and needs to get into the work force for a while so he can answer more questions.

the class wasn't hard at all. I did all the assignments (4 dropped the lowest mark) and listened in class all I used the text for was a couple definitions. Midterm was kinda tricky but if you put in the time you should be fine. The assignments only took about an hour and a half.

Makes an easy class difficult - WAY too many assignments and notes - they're posted online, but they really don't help much. According to a few econ majors, he has a reputation for being one of the worst, so take this class from someone else if you can help it.
