Comment:

Williams makes this a very easy and simple class. The only time you should go to class is for the test review days. He pretty much tells you questions/answers on the test. Study off of the powerpoints because he uses the exact diagrams from the slideshows on the tests. Besides that I thought he was pretty funny.

Now that's what I call a curve!!! 81-95 A 43 students in that range 72-80 B 58 63-71 C 50 54-62 D 34 <54 F 11 I never bought a book, rarely went to class, just read the power points, and got As. I found him easy and funny, although most people think he is boring and funny.

I didn't like him at the beginning because his powerpoints are unclear and his lectures are all over the place. But as long as you go to class for the review before the exam, and study the slides you should do fine. He also grades on a very generous curve because most of the class is horrible at science and he knwos it. Funny guy.

I didn't mind this prof at all. He makes sure you understand every concept before moving on and he seems very approachable. Lectures are kinda slow. Only complaint is sometimes it was hard to know exactly what to study for the tests because his notes can be confusing so be sure to attend the couple classes before each test for the review.

He is so weird, he goes off on random tangents all the time, and his token line is "Does this make any sense at all?" Hes not a very good teacher, but go to lecture because he'll tell you alot of the questions that are on the test, thats the only reason i have at least a C right now, i never read the book

Terrible teacher. NEVER ask him questions because he'll go on for hours about something completely unrelated. The tests are hard, but drastically curved.

HORRIBLE... I didnt even attend the last 3 weeks because of how much of a drag it was trying to stay awake in class. Not worth my time at 8 in the morning! (I read the book and got more out of it)

He was a sweet older man who cracked funny jokes in lecture. His tests had barely anything to do with lecture, so going to lecture is pretty pointless. Make sure you read the book and look more into the details of the study guide to get at least a B.

Take Sociobiology from him and Joan Stevenson. They are great team and are a lot of fun. He's more interested in this topic, so his test are more clear and easier than some of his other classes.

had him 3 times... he is unclear, unprofessional, and horrible test maker. Don't ever try to ask a question in class he will make you feel stupid for asking it and embarass you in front of the class. Grading and curves are difficult!

I love Dr. Williams and I really enjoyed taking this class. He has a delightful sense of humor and he is an excellent lecturer. He is very patient, kind, and approachable but brutally honest, which I find refreshing. I was very fortunate to have him as a professor.

The lectures don't follow the book and are not helpful for the tests. To pass the class, just read the book, don't bother going to lecture it will only confuse you. The lectures are all rambeling about teenagers and how they are cruel and mean. Take the class, just don't go to lecture.
