An absolutely wonderful professor. Dr. Bailey is an engaging man and he makes History a vital, interesting subject. Heavy workload, not for slackers, but very worthwhile to be among his students. He is missed now that he's retired.

Get passed what you perceive as his pompousness and you will find yourself encouraged, respected, challenged, and engaged. Bailey loves to pull the chair out from underneath you, but only because he knows what you can become when you get back up.
