I just discovered the website today and looked up my favorite teachers from when I went to school back in 1969. Don Estes was a fantastic teacher. I am so sorry to hear he passed away. Think about it. Being remembered after 37 years has to speak well of him

Professor Estes will be missed greatly, but the people in the afterlife will get a great teacher to teach them. He was one of the best teacher I have ever had. He cared for and loved his students and wanted them to be knowledgeable at the polls and interested in our political system. He changed my life completely and I will miss him.

This rating is just to inform everybody that Professor Estes is no longer with us. He died at the age of 68 on May 7,2005 from heart bypass sugery.
