He is a great teacher, he knows SO much about the course work. He has taught this and RELS 210 Jesus for 40+ years at MC. If you show up to each class, and get to know him personally you will get a great grade in his class. I really enjoyed my time with him this summer.

Took Gray twice for two courses, went into his final both times with an A average and ended up with a B+ in the course. Don't get his grading, but the course is really easy and you'll get a good grade with minimum effort.

Guy is very boring. Does care about students though, will give extra credit to improve grades. His tests from the previous semester are identical so find someone who used to take his class. Very nice guy. Knows his stuff. He doesn't care about people being late.

2 tests & only need 2 low cost books. To set the record straight, the class isn't easy. I always was so tempted to sleep in class, cause he is so boring! The tests are hard cause, no one understands or listens to him. Most of the kids in my class zoned out and listened to their ipods during class. Can bring bibles to test

Don't really get the Easy A Gray nickname, because he really isn't that easy. Unless you have a copy of all of his tests, you won't be getting an A. Attendance wasn't mandatory. Started taking attendance at 8am every morning and stopped doing it a few weeks in. Ended up with a B+ but wasn't really worth waking up so early for it.

His class is pretty good when you actually pay attention. The only thing is he is not really that easy. The only way its easy is if you have the old tests. But if you pay attention and read you will be fine. There isn't any hw only to read the textbook. He doens't care if your late to class. I got a C+ changed to a B since he let me rewrite a test

The man would make a great grandfather because he sure can tell a story that puts you to sleep. Goes off of no notes, writes very little on the board so you must take good notes. Only three tests, but they're not easy unless you know someone who took it before. Boring class. No HW

Fantastic professor. Not nearly as easy as everyone says. Unless you have an old test you actually have to rely on notes to do well on tests. He is very good & literally knows EVERYTHING about Jesus. Class is entirely lecture & he speaks for 55 minutes straight without notes. Visit in office and he'll allow you to rewrite essays to higher grade.

Very monotone voice, but the topic is actually interesting. When i wasnt asleep i learned some cool stuff. Dr. Gray is a great teacher and very fair grader. The class may bore you, but its definitely worthwhile.

Ok, two things. 1: Gray is an incredibly boring teacher, esp. at 8AM. He drones on and makes jokes only I find funny (but not that funny). 2: Easy grader, as long as you put in even the slightest bit of effort; tests don't change much from sem. to sem.

He can put anyone to sleep with his voice. He really knows it, though, and he doesn't hold it against students when they don't show up or don't pay attention or something. You don't have to participate and he's relatively easy at grading.

The subject matter isn't fascinating, but he tried to make it interesting. Have him for Jesus now, much more interesting not boring. If you are interested in learning he's a good professor. If you want an easy A, then it will also work.
