Harsh, critical. No patience. Unless you are a brown-noser and know everything B4 you walk in the class, don't expect to come out of it learning anything. I passed, but probably should not have. I think he just passed most of us because it would look bad if too many failed! I would love to take again w/ a diff teacher just to learn more.

He knows his stuff, but is not good at explaining it. he makes you feel stupid if you ask questions. I got an A in ATG 110 with Bob Lay, but struggled in this class to even get a C. Wait until he's retired before you take this class.

This is a very hard class. People always blame it on the professor but it is the material. Most people go in there expecting to have their grade handed to them. I had to work hard in the class but it turned out ok. He explained things well

Aweful professor!!! He is very unclear in explaining and only reads the slide show the book gives him on their website, then goes over the answers to applications with no explaination! If you have him go to class for the quizes all you need is your name!

Contrary to most students, I thought Kellogg was a great teacher. Maybe it's just that our thought processes worked the same way, but I always felt his explanations were clear. I think part of the bad reviews reflect the difficulty of the subject matter
