Very condescending and doesn't care about students. e.g., he miscalculated my mid-term exam score and he asked me why I'd bother contesting it since "it's only a couple percent". Puts students on the spot to make them look the fool. I did well on wall street and he's one of several reasons i won't donate to the school.

The copying of little numbers in class is terrible. If you don't really understand his notes in class, you will probably not get it later at home. Many of his solutions have mistakes, which makes it harder. Exams are difficult. Some will love him most will not.

Great course to take whether you're in finance and/or accounting. Concepts are relatively simple, but to master them are quite difficult. Lot's of homework to do. Exams are relatively hard but he marks easy. Lockwood is very clear in explaining all the concepts. I don't understand why some Big 4 employed students would avoid this course.

Spend most of class trying to scribble down the notes that he has typed up for the projector. You can't listen to what he's saying because you're scribbling so fast. Sometimes he posts the notes beforehand so you don't have to scribble, but he still goes way to fast to actually learn much. This course is boring as hell, and you wont learn from Don

I was "lucky" enough to have him for both Tax and Consolidation - two of the worst accounting courses in the life of an accountant, in my opinion. let me just say that these two courses are very difficult to teach and there are loads of material to get through in 13 weeks. After giving him the benefit of the doubt, i still think he SUCKS!

This class was HARD!! Hard to learn AND hard to teach. I respect Don for even attempting to lecture this class. The volume of information and level of detail was just mind-numbing. Let's just say, do not attempt to cram this midterm because you WILL explode. Granted for a class this hard, Don could have been a bit more willing to answer questions..

He does make a boring topic less boring. But he does not respect students at times. His notes (costs $10 to purchase) is full of TYPOS and ERRORS. He would change his version on the overhead but seldom tell students of the typos, making it extremely hard to follow in class. Illegible Hand writing, if not worst I've seen. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!

Tough course material, and he makes it tougher. He wants you to ask questions but when you do he makes you feel stupid for asking. I asked him questions during office hours but he made me feel dumb, like I should have already known the answer. Overall, terrible teacher. Fine if you already knew the material but most of us didn't. Classnotes sucked
