possibly the worst prof ever. Constant digressions in class, ridiculous assignments (make a poster...come on!!!), mind numbing group speaking projects etc. Girls who smile a lot and say "I love kids" get automatic "A"'s. Offers absolutely zero preparation for a teaching career. Recommended for dense students who need a hug.

Mary Ann is very scared to offend ANYONE, therefore she tiptoes around subjects to the point where it's almost painful. Yes, she is a nice lady, but I'm not sure exactly what I'm learning.

She never made her marking criteria clear, and in our class the marks were distributed unevenly. The stuff she focused on was not what we had our exams on, she didn't teach the way she is teaching us to, there were a lot of mixed messages.

The course was by far one of my favorite classes in my academic history. Mary Ann is passionate about what she instructs and teaches us all how to be thoughtful, caring and sympathetic teachers for the future.

A very very easy course.Open-book tests, and you don't even need to read the textbook--we never refer to it. Super-nice lady who really loves her job.Definately on uppers. Take this class! You get to do skits!

While Marianne is a great person, she needs to start thinking a bit more radical. I felt like i was on Oprah or something. Interesting approach, but high school students do not buy the sappy crap (like a little bell to get the students attention).
