She is by far one of the best Professors I've ever had. Your grade consists of chapter tests and thought papers- there is no final or midterm, and the chapter tests are open notebook. You can get along easy in the course without the book. The thought papers aren't hard and are usually you expressing your opinion. Would defiantly take her again.

Prof. Qin is wonderful! She truely knows the suject and teaches materials very well. Her lectures are well-organized and interesting! Reasonable workload. She cares for students' learning!I've learned so much from both Developmental Psychology (Psy.201) and Psychology of Women (Psy. 305). Highly recommend her classes!

She is a pretty good teacher, very nice. She counts attendance. You copy notes she writes for you and study for the tests- you really don't need the book. And papers aren't long and don't require much research so they are easy too. No midterm or final- only chapter tests.

Had her for developmental psych too - she gave open note quizzes directly (word for word) from the notes. For social psych she gives a lot of notes, but always lets you out early, have to do journals but after the first few she seems to stop even reading them and just grades that you do them. Multiple choice tests and a sweet lady! Highly recommend

She's so cute! The accent is a little much at first, put she gives notes directly off powerpoint and tests are open notes! Pretty easy--all you need to do is show up to take notes and get those journal entries (can be a bit of a pain, but not too bad) in on time. I loved her. She's so sweet! :-)

Class is pretty easy (developmental psych) and the biggest complaint I have is the sheer amount of note taking (your hand WILL fall off).. as for a person, she is very condescening and it constantly seems as though she is talking down to you
