Comment:

She is a good professor. Even though her style of teaching is pretty boring if you can stay awake during the lecture and just give some attention to what she is saying then it is pretty easy to pass the course. Her assignments are also a little bit tough, but they are great for practice. She also replies to emails really quickly.

Comment:

She explains well in class and I would take her for another semester, but the only problem is that she doesn't post lecture slides so you have to rely on taking notes and reading the textbook a lot. Otherwise, she is a great prof.

This was my first time ever learning java and she did an amazing job at teaching it. Amazing professor. Attendance isn't mandatory but you'll probably end up failing if you don't go. Textbook also isn't mandatory but it helps sometimes with the assignments. Attend ALL classes, Put in the work and you get your A.

Comment:

Labs and assignments are where you will get the bulk of your marks, her midterms/exams are fair but more on the hard side. Her lectures had no slide shows (this is a java course) which made it sometimes hard to follow on paper without seeing the illustration. The lectures are dry and boring but the labs are much more engaging. over all good prof.

Amazing prof. If one is not easily bored and really pays attention, she can be very helpful. She explains all the important concepts very clearly and in details. She doesn't liven the class, therefore all you need is to not fall asleep.

Very clear to understand, except you have to stop yourself from falling asleep, as the lectures can get incredibly dull and boring. Drink lots of coffee. The exams are abstract, and assignments are long. However, if you pay attention you should do fine.

She seems robotic and is very professional. However if you visit her in her office she's willing to help. She can be boring for sure, but only because she explains things completely. Make sure you're prepared for obscure questions on your midterm/final. Go over EVERYTHING she did in class and make sure you can do it quickly. I would recommend her.

All the dislike on here is because she is boring. Yes she can be a bit boring, but if you aren't lazy and actually bother to pay attention, she presents the information in a very easy to understand clear concise manner. The only issue I had with her is that she can be quite strict.

Very helpful, polite, on time. Makes an effort to help students, grading is fair. Do you work, and stay on top of your assignments & labs, you will need the marks. Midterm & Final contains a lot of questions, and you will have to be an expert to finish them all. She can be boring, but she knows her stuff.

Okay. This woman is the most boring prof i've ever had. She takes attendance every day, which is strange for a university course. 1710 is a very easy course, so if you didn't want to attend her 9am class you could just teach it to yourself (or do the labs). If you venture to class, drink lots of coffee first. You'll need it.

Good prof... really helped me through 1710. She clarifies everything, and if your major isn't CS, makes it easier for you to get through the course! Classes are pretty dull, but she makes the material understandable. Nice woman, easy to talk to.

Had her for 1710 and 2710. Good prof as long as YOU care and do your work. Plenty of time to do assignments and lab work. Great examples given in class. The only down side to the course was the final was much harder/different then other marked works. Can't complain about her or the course any more then that.

This is the worst teacher ever, she has no concerns about the students she has no emotions, it is as if she is dead inside, I have taken a couple of courses in Computer Science and none of the prof were as bad as her, she can't even be approached and she is emotionless. She does not even motivate students and does not even get us involved in class.
