Comment:

Lectures were often all over the place, lecture slides usually contain mistakes and classes were cancelled often leading to cramming. Appeared bristled when asked questions about exams which dissuaded students from asking, then sent passive aggressive email about why students weren't asking her. TA ended up being a better teacher.

Se puts a great deal of effort into her lectures and into making helpful booklets and worksheets. She is really committed to her students and really approachable. Haven't had an exam with her yet, but she she seems fair.

Comment:

She is the first and only professor I have met who has made such an obvious effort to learn ppl's names and get to know every student. There are 120+ people in our class, & she already knows quite a few names and faces. Finally, she does not skimp on the positive reinforcement and encourages student participation without using the Socratic method.

Prof. Eansor is very clear and engaging in her lectures. She teaches Intro Property Law, which can be complicated and has a reputation for being a dry subject.. and the class is huge (120+ ppl), but she makes it clear and engaging. She is super approachable and you can tell that she really cares about her students.

She's not bad. I found her a little avoidant at times. She is also a bit difficult to follow in class, since it's clear that she reads off her lecture notes. She is good with attending student questions in class, but she will often seem unsure and will occasionally contradict herself. She also has a tendency to lose her place during lecture.

Incredible Person. Not always to the point, because she doesn't realize it. She will absolutely do anything for her students. Midterm exam very fair (estates). Final exam,hmm sometimes it seems like she's trying to be more confusing than she needs to be. Perhaps to drop the grades...? Overall still recommended.

She was pretty good as a lecturer and explained things rather well. Very nice and helpful person overall but must have had a brain cramp compiling our final exam and forgot that we only had 3 hours, not 6 or 8, to answer all the questions and write an essay.

Exams are straighforward. You either understand Estates or you do not. I got an A on the first and final. Yes Ocheje's class is a joke but remember everything is graded on a curve. I prefer the tougher exams because they separate the students who actually read as opposed to those who used canned notes. Prof Eansor is a fair and caring teacher.

Great teacher, great person. Unfair final exam, half the class didn't have time to finish, absurdly long. Other class' exam was a joke. As long as she marks accordingly I suppose it is all the same, we will see when the marks come out

Prof. Eansor represents all that's right about the Faculty of Law. Very open to other opinions, very kind and helpful, and concerned for her students' well-being. Learned quite a bit in tax, and as long as you show up to class consistently, you'll end up with a mark that you deserve.
