I LOVE Dot! She is my favorite professor at UNCA and I would do anything for her. Her tests were extremely difficult but nothing that you can't manage if you come to class and take detailed notes. She really and truly cares about you succeeding and I appreciate that.

Dot Sulock is a treasure. She is not only hilarious, she's also very intelligent, a bottomless pit of intsrenewable energy information. She inspired me to major in ints. I will not tell you that this class is easy, but it's worth taking. You're in college, you should be challenged. She wants you to do well, keep it together and you'll be fine.

She was TERRIBLE!!! She didn't ever explain anything. All she did was hand us packets of worksheets she typed us and we would spend all of class doing them. If we had a question, she would take it personally and get frustrated with us. There is a lot more I would like to say about her, but it won't all fit here. Terrible. Worst teacher I ever had.

I love Dot Sulock to bits. The only trouble is, her class was very difficult. The curriculum was too difficult and rarely applicable for teaching in an elementary classroom. But, she is always available to help a student, and that is the best way to get a good grade! She is truly a wonderful and witty person.

Class is extremely demanding- as far as homework goes. You will work hard for your grade. LOVE her as a teacher though. Very knowledgeable, always willing to help you understand the material, and very nice. A pleasure to be around, and very entertaining :)

I've had her for two classes. Pay attention to lectures, take notes, do the assignments and readings, and you'll do great! None of it is hard, and she usually makes the material interesting. She is an extremely nice, helpful woman, not to mention one of the smartest people I know. I suggest her for any class!

For the nuclear dilemma I enjoyed her greatly never had her for mathematics but she was fair, knowledgeable and if you do the work you will quite simply pass. Also all major tests are open not so that is always very nice.

This class is super easy. The homework is easy enough and if you finish it before the due date, she allows you to skip class. The tests are easy, the homework is easy, and it doesn't take a lot of brain power. The worst part of the class was the time - she held it at 4:35 and the motivation to actually go to class that late is really hard.

Dot is a great professor. She can sometimes ramble or get off topic but she knows what she is talking about and actively works to help you learn the material. All tests where open note and open computer, so a good grade will be easy and you will learn valuable facts about the world.

This teacher does not teach you.She begins the first day by telling the class they can't think. She insults you instead of teaching, the homework packets that comprise the entire class are often worded ambiguously.If she spent time on forming a quality curriculum as opposed to tauting her political views the course might worth taking.

She is completely awful. She rambles constantly, gives so much homework yet goes over about 3% of what we are supposed to learn for the test. If you take her, be prepared to spend absurd amounts of time doing homework which she will never go over. She should really retire..avoid her at all costs, she's useless.

She's great I loved her. she isn't very clear at times but is more than willing to help you when you need it. If you turn in your work early you are counted as present and don't have to come the next class and the review days are optional. i think you can have like 10 unexcused absences before it hurts your grade

DOT SULOCK WAS THE WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD! she begins the course telling you that she dosent teach, so then if you are remotley confused with math you will struggle. she expects you to leanr everything on your own and she is awful at giving help or extra credit. NEVER TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

Doesn't teach. All the work is unnecessarily difficult and expects you to figure it out on your own. When she does offer help, she can't answer a question without rambling about how shes helping the environment or her views on the war or her political stand-point. Nice lady but she should hurry up and retire. Don't take her.

Nuclear Dilemma, don't take it! Her expectations are insane, you have to learn almost everything on your own, and she does a horrible job teaching in class. She is smart, but she rants in such an incoherent way that most of the students zone out.
