Relatively boring first half of the semester, but after the midterm it gets more interesting. The prof is pretty nice and a good teacher, however the material in the earlier part of the semester is pretty dry.

sassy and interesting prof. made 9am lectures lively and is very inspiring. she doesn't sugar coat things and gives real-life experiences as examples to enhance learning. one of the best profs i've had.

Dr. Summerfeldt was one of the best profs I've ever had. She is an excellent teacher and very knowledgeable, and can make a 9:00 class exciting. Her course was incredibly interesting and she is also very helpful if you need accommodations. The psychology department needs more instructors like her!

One of the better psyc prof's. Clear when lecturing and easy to know what is on tests. Anyone that says she is hard doesn't study or doesn't know how. I didn't study for either test and did above average so I don't know what to say about the others.

Her new happy demeanor makes her more interesting to listen to in class. She has developed new examples to illustrate her points, like new case studies and stories about her son ilustrating behaviour (which is good for those of us who take several abnormal classes). I find it better to read the text AFTER class- makes class more interesting.
