Comment:
Dr. Bonett is a great person - he loves Stats and really wants to help students learn to love and understand them too. There is no "textbook," but he writes up all the notes you need and posts them on WebCT. The lab is kind of useless unless you really want to learn how to use SAS. The tests are all short answer/definitions, no calculations.

Always answers e-mails very quickly - Is always willing to answer questions in class. Has study guides for exams but make sure to do them in advance using notes + book, & then complete them in class when he goes over them. Tends to ramble a bit => easy to get distracted. Getting an A is def. possible. Had final grade up same day we took the final!

Took this class a couple of years ago. Very good prof for social science statistics, particularly nonparametrics. I have consulted with him a couple of times since...still very helpful, even though I am not in any of his classes. Very enthusiastic about his field.

It is a tough class, but well worth it if you like stats. He was a great teacher and I agree that even though he is a little older...very cute!!!

He hasn't taught this course in a while, which is a shame if you are a psych studnet. Even though he's older and loves statistics, he's a hottie! His smile makes me melt every single time.
