Took this as a summer online course. I don't recommend. Too much to fit into eight weeks. Also, Dr. Dunham has collected loads of supplimental materials that are necessary reading!

This was without a doubt the HARDEST class I've ever taken, and it's a gen ed. It was taught like a 400 level course. He's OK as an instructor, but expects way too much. Endless textbook readings, lectures, random supplemental stuff online, all fair game for tests and quizzes. AND you have to buy an overpriced remote to take quizzes. Ridiculous!

Seriously, Gen. Psychology should not be this hard. Dunham expects you to know everything from the textbook chapters, his lectures, AND required readings on ecompanion. Your quizzes are like game shows...taken with a stupid, expensive remote YOU have to pay to get AND activate online. He's a nice guy, but expects way too much for a gen ed. course!

Advanced is actually much easier than standard Bio Psych. Its a lot of work but most of your grade is based on particiaption and doing the assigned readings. NO TESTS but 2 papers and the senior assessment. Overall he is very personable and willing to help you out.

Not easy, but could be harder by far. Start beginning of semester studying for the final. Review every day. Go back and review earlier chapters after moving on and you will make even more connections. USE the online tutorials provided on class website. Ask and you will get help. He is eager to see you learn!

Always very clear/organized and VERY willing to help if you ask. However, its very, very rough. EXTREMELY specific questions on tests. You must know everything. More information in 15 weeks than most would give in a year. Read the book daily and approach every test like your college career depends on it. Most people are thrilled getting a C.

very hard class. my major is psych/soc and this class was so hard. he makes you take a quiz everyday with this remote thing(this is easy if you read the text) but his tests are difficult. interesting class though. take someone else if you want an A, B, or C.

Toughest class I've ever taken. He's clear in lectures, but his tests are very difficult. Be prepared for class everyday or you won't make it. Probably the most intelligent man in the department, which doesn't really help for undergrads sometimes. Just study. A lot.

He is a very difficult teacher to understand, he class is horribly boring. It is pointless to take him when there are much easier professors. I repeat, DO NOT TAKE HIM.

Don't take this guy, unless you LOVE psych already and have a lot of free time to meet his standards. Don't take him for Gen. Pysch. He's very particular and hard to please. He will help if you ask, and does know what he is talking about, but the class is hard. Study for tests. A lot.

I took AP psych. in high school and got in A so I though I would be okay and I barely got a C. Dunham expects you to spend all of your time for his class and even told us that we need to study at least 20 hours for his test. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!!
