He's a really nice guy and he has a funny sense of humor. There are only 3 papers and they're all really easy as long as you take your time. All the grammar test are open book and so is the final. You do 10 reading reactions 100 words each and you just email them to him. He rants a lot but you still learn. And he ends by watching a movie.

He is a great guy the work isn't that hard if you show up to classes the papers are easy and his gives you a chance to fix them for a better grade and you can retake test for more points. all he wants is for his students to pass and understand. I would tell everyone to take him

Doug is easily accessible of playing favorites when in actuality it is the students who show interest in what he is teaching that he gives extra attention. You get what you give in his class. If you don't care, neither does he. Very friendly and helpful if you ask for the help. Offers redos on all essays except for the last one.

By far the worst professor I have ever been taught from. My class started out at 32, ended up with 12. He tries to fail his students out of class, and if class is missed prior to turning in a paper, he will not accept it and accuses of buying the paper online, thus failing the student. He doesn't teach at all, bores with useless lectures.

HORRIBLE!!!!!! He makes you do work not required for this class...he made the final on a movie we watched that was completley in CHINESE!!! He makes you take tests on documentation that your supposed to memorize. Worst of all there was no one in my class who got better than a C on thier paper. And all his papers are about past wars, nothing else.

Easy easy easy. I got all A's on the grammar things without even studying. Papers were easy as cake. High school English was harder than this. Haneline is a really nice guy. He comes off as creepy, but he's just friendly in a weird way. I liked this class and I don't like English. :)

The class wasn't hard, but we didn't do a lot. We wrote two papers, took some tests, and did some silly grammer stuff. Everything was worth way more points then it needed to be worth. The two papers sucked, one had to have 10 sources, the other 8. Class wasn't a lot of fun, but a nice professor..

Loved him. Painfully easy. Very, very, very intelligent man. The class mostly consisted of learning about grammar, which was very reminiscent of 6th grade english. Had to write two papers. Whoever thought this class was hard may want to reconsider their career plans.
