He was clear. If you want someone who doesn't do much discussion, just lectures, this is the class for you. Take good notes and you probably won't even have to read the plays. He loves lists. Memorize them and you're good.

I took this class a few semsters ago, so my comments may not be relevant now. I thought that his presentation of the material, though not the most lively I have ever seen, was clear and thorough. The tests are somewhat difficult with quote identifications, etc, but if you pay attention and keep up with the plays, you will be fine.

He is a very nice teacher.i didnt like his test they were all about memorization of fill in the blank and deffinitons.Very picky about his essay part on the test.If he does not like or know u then ur going to have to work.I had a C/B average,and he would not give me the 2 points for the B.i ended up with a C

He's like a father figure. You can tell that he enjoys what he teaches. IT IS REQUIRED THAT YOU DO SOME TYPE OF READING IN THIS CLASS0. I mean come on, it is British LITERATURE. The tests are easy to those who read and deadly to those who dont its that simple. A good chunk of the test is from notes.

This teacher was great. I was not looking forward to this class but he made it enjoyable. His tests are not hard if you go to class everyday and he reviews before every exam. I enjoyed him so much that I am going to take him again in the fall.

I thought this guy was the worst until I got my grade. I know I should have made a D, but somehow I got a C. You must go to class in order to make at least a C on his "memorization" tests. He gives random reading quizzes, but normally over the longer stories that he assigns, so read them!
