I am a mature student who was missing two course from my diploma. Dr. Pirani was extremely helpful in helping me tie up any loose ends - after being bounced around from person to person, I was finally asked to see him. Although I had never met him, he was warm, kind, courteous, and immediately made me feel like things would work out and they did.

Something happened along the way to this "teacher". In 2006, this man should not be allowed to stand in the front of a class. He is very impatient, WILL not review "concepts" or show worked examples. Demeaning. Effectively, we are expected to teach ourselves. The class on a whole is feeling ripped off. We are very sad.Most will change colleges.

Intimidating at first, things ease off a bit as you get used to his teaching. Very effective, clear speaker. Very helpful and caring, Definitely a great prof. Just make sure you treat him with respect. Which goes for how you should treat anyone.
