Very clear in her explanations and fairly willing to help although she did tend to treat me like a child if I didn't quite understand something she felt should be easy. Definitely the only reason I passed micro though.

She was my summer advisor at SOAR. Unfortunately, Dr. Spence was extraordinarily rude and condesending, sniping whenever I made a scheduling decision she didn't like. Was very controlling over my decisions and hindered me from a better course schedule. Seemed to have her own agenda. Can't imagine her as a professor.

She was very rude to me and seemed to treat me like she thought I was stupid. She didn't seem to like BMS students because of the whole feud between them and BIO. Seemed helpful to others, I felt a little pushed to the side. If I ever messed up she made a big deal about it in front of the entire class. If you are BIO she is probably pretty good

She was so mean! I agree with all your comments. I took her class long ago, but she was so mean, it came flooding back to me when I read the comments. No matter her position she shouldn't talk down to her students. I cannot believe she has retained her job at the university for this long.
