Great to be around, as everyone has said. But he is a WRITER first and a TEACHER second. I feel like he helped me with the pieces I turned in for class, but could have done more to help me with my writing process in the future. Overall, he's an awesome person, but I would have liked to feel like he cared about me as a CW major more than he did.

He is the funniest English teacher I have ever had. He is down to earth, witty, very clever and is very willing to help. He is one of the most interesting teachers I have had and he really knows what he is talking about. Take his class, you will never fall asleep there I can guarantee it.

love him. seriously...the best teacher i've had at elon. he loves what he teaches and it really shows through. he also gets to know students on a personal level and is great about giving feedback. he tends to scare people off in the first class, but seriously stick around, its so worth it!!!

Drew Perry is an amazing professor and person. Besides Boyle, he is the best writing professor I have ever had- and in fact inspired me to pursuit a writing career after Elon. Knows more than anyone I know about writing and the literary world. Amazing, ingenius- his classes are so rewarding!

Coolest person EVER!He made me think and really understand writing. You have to work hard, but it was 1000% worth it because I learned so much. He always let us out early and I have never laughed so hard and look forward to class before. TAKE HIM!
