Dr. Smith is a great teacher but he doesn't like to be questioned. I don't think he should be running the bio department as he is very reluctant to get involved with conflict if you are having problems with another professor he refuses to help you b/c he doesn't want to be put in that situation with his colleags. Very hands off.
