One of the worst advisors I have ever had. If he is assigned to you as an advisor, switch immediately. Works when he wants, plays favorites, thinks hes the most popular guy in the halls (often times where he spends him free time in Showker).

I cannot believe they employ him at JMU. Horrible teacher. Horrible counselor. Both faculty and students alike avoid him because he is awful.If you do one thing during your tenure at JMU, avoid this person in and out of campus. You will be better for it.

If you have him for a counselor then change majors. Works on his own time(never. you can see him in the halls doing nothing often). Will actually put a 'hold' on your record if you do something to upset him. His 1 class he has is a joke. Actually had other faculty members tell me directly he should have been fired years ago. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This class was crazy easy. Sure, he'll have his favorites, but just show up, participate in class and turn in all your assignments, and you'll have no problem with the tests. Generally a nice guy, sometimes pretty entertaining, but don't expect to learn a tremendous amount in this intro class.

Uses the exact same PowerPoint slides that he previously used the year before. Reads directly from the pp slides which are pulled straight from the textbook. If it wasn't for the fact that class attendance is mandatory you wouldn't need to attend at all. Does not teach at all just rambles about nonsense to pass the class time. Shows some favoritism

Not as bad as everyone makes him out to be. I had him as an advisor and couldn't stand him, but his class isn't to bad. Gives a lot of easy assigments that raise your grade. Class is straghtfoward. Do all of the assigments, decent on the tests, and show up for class and you will make a good grade.

There's no reason to be so hard on him. Just participate a little bit and get on his good side and you'll be fine. All of the work is easy (an occasional case study is tricky but he'll give you full credit anyway)and he's pretty funny. Don't take him if you're an **** and show obvious disrespect for him...he's not afraid to pick on people.
