I think that he is a terrible human being who likes to humiliate students and pick fights that he clearly would not win outside of a classroom.He is very aggressive considering his age and stature. It's an easy A if you are able to suffer through it though.

Horrible teacher. Worst I ever had. He's a complete jerk and shouldn't be teaching at all. His attendance policy sucks. You can't understand what he's talking about half the time. all he did was lecture for 15 - 25 minutes then give out worksheets that you had to use the book for... and then you still couldn't find half the answers. Just awful.

It was REALLY easy, you will feel nervous and think you don't know what is going on, but the tests are cake and he gives extra points. HOWEVER he is the worst prof I've ever had. He got into SCREAMING and yelling matches with students, he talked like Ben Stein and tried to forcibly take a student's cell phone; I thought he was going to hit him.

Overall, he is not that bad of a teacher. His class is pretty simple! Just go to class everyday, because he gives out worksheets that are graded. On the test, just study his notes & do the study guides for the chapters. He has a quirky personality and you just have to get use to his way of teaching!

Easy class! EVERY CLASS he gives out worksheets and that's where the grade comes from so go to class. He has a smart mouth so get used to it lol The map quizzes were EASY and the test were EASY! but you do have to study for the tests. AND THERE ARE ALOT OF NOTES TO WRITE EACH CLASS. and he won't put them on blackboard. field trips - extra credit!

Run far far away and never look back to this class. I took Babin for Weather and it was the most useless course I have ever taken in my life. This is one of the worst professors I have ever had. He makes you late for your class because he will keep you until you finish the corssword puzzles. He counted off for me on a puzzle because I don't dot my 'I's and he assumed, being in college that I can't spell 'religion'. He is very unfair and unhelpful. He is very unorganized and rude.

Prof. Babin class was one of the most uncontrolled college classrooms I have ever been in. Students were unrully and talked throughout the entire class which was very distracting. Every day you have to do a ridiculous worksheet and the test are so insane studing will do you no good. Take another professor if you can!!!

Be prepared to spend a lot of time looking through the book for answers to crossword puzzles. He'll lecture for an hour then the last 15 minutes he'll hand you 2 LONG puzzles to finish and you have to finish it to go, they are GRADED. Dnt miss ANY days. He's tough and his notes arent on the tests, study and pray. PRAY HARD because you'll need it!

He was an alright teacher. If you do the worksheets you will be fine. On the test make sure you study your worksheets and the crossword puzzles. His worksheets will make you late for your other classes, but overall he is not that bad! Get the book for the class because you will need it to do the worksheets!

All we ever did was look at slides and hear him talk about stuff from his past. Needless to say none of that was on the test. I couldnt get a clear idea of what to study because all we did was worksheets. Be prepared to stay after class 10 to 15 minutes to finish worksheets, he doesnt give you time in class, but its do that day. AVOID HIM.
