Comment:
Excellent teaching style that is very relaxed and engaging. Really knowledgeable about developmental bio. Really fun lab (microdissections and grafts of chick embryos). The abundant video clips and pictures he uses really helps. Organized material in a very logical way that helps you understand the "big picture" of course material.

Fantastic Prof. Had a great interest in material, made concepts very clear. Great relaxed and interactive teaching style. Got to know each student in the class by name very quickly. Best university class I've taken so far.

I was really impressed with his notes. They are clear and complete but difficult to study from. His exams are straight foreward but some knowledge needs to be applied. Flexible and friendly but also has a very scary side. Never mention a professor is ending class early or else he turns mean.

He is by far the best cell bio prof. He knows the stuff so well and really wants you to know it too. If you understand the notes (which he hands out!), you will do extremely well in his class. Not too approachable for most people though, but great.

And molecular cell bio - straightforward kind o' guy, attend his classes and shoot straight for the notes. Tests are fair and straight outta the notes.
