Ed is a fantastic teacher! He works with students and tries his best to teach/grade in a way that will be most beneficial to them. Attendance is highly suggested, he does take a attendance....but I ended up attending every single class because I enjoyed it so much. He's hilarious and just a ton of fun to be around. You'll love him!

Ed is a wonderful guy, and extremely helpful and nice. He really does care and critiques to HELP you. He also uses real world thinking for each project, so it's great help for what businesses would want in the real world. DON'T BUY THE BOOK, not needed.

Ed is super nice and funny in an adorable way. The classwork isn't hard to do but he grades it hard. It's easy to do well but hard to get an A. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. mine is still in the package it came in. the only test is a take home final and you don't need the book. take the class with Ed, he might take you all to lunch at Bob Evans :)

Funny little old man! Does a lot of lecture notes but it helps to learn the material and he never keeps you there the whole time. Takes lots of suggestions from the class always ask for a take home test!

Had Ed for IPR 101, JRN 350 and he is also my advisor. He is seriously the man! He actually cares about his students and wants them to succeed. He is a super nice man. His grading can be quite tough and knit picky though, but he does that to get the best out of his students.

He doesn't clarify assignments at all. For the exam, it was 15 pages and we never went over half of the material. He grades assignments very unfairly. This class is a lot of assignments that aren't very well explained.

Ed is extremely helpful! If you have problems or need help he'll gladly help you. In a department where it seems like no one wants to help you get an A, Ed definitely wants to see you succeed and do the best you can. I recommend him to anyone who has to take BCA 311.

I had Prof. Hutchison for IPR 101 last semester. He is a really great guy and is extremely helpful if you just ask. I wasn't sure how to approach one of my papers so I just asked him and I ended up being given more points than the assignment was actually worth! I strongly recommend him, he's a genuinely nice guy who knows what he's talking about!

This teacher is awful!! He grades unfairly and tells you he grades on a curve. He does not grade on a curve. The failing grade on your paper is the one you will get. He is rude and very unhelpful. Dont put your papers in front of the class it does not help your grade!

The class isn't that hard and unless if you actually go up to Ed and ask questions, you might not get much out of the class, but he was honestly one of the best professors I've had in college. Ed is a nice guy. He is extremely helpful if you go see him during office hours. he said that you need to buy issues of the wall street journal-DON'T! Attendance is a must! he gives out 100 extra credit points to those who never missed or missed one or two. Has very bad handwriting. Overall good class and learned a lot!

he said we were going to have quizzes over material in the wall street journal, which we had to pay for to get ourselves, but WE NEVER HAD A SINGLE QUIZ. we never opened TWO of the three books. we did not know any of our grades until about 4 weeks before class was over and then didnt receive all of them until ONE WEEK before class was over.

Ed is definitely a great guy. Very helpful if you ever have a question. BE PREPARED for the tests, and be there for attendance, he usually takes it on Friday's. I advise sitting in the front, he's a mumbler! Only negative thing is he sometimes contradicts himself when explaining things. Class usually gets out early - can't beat that!

Fast Eddy is a bleeding-heart liberal. He hates Bush and isn't affraid to say so, which is WRONG. He should keep his opinions to himself!! His exam questions are tricky and his lectures are boring. Hard class, grades as though you've been doing PR for 40 years. Very nice guy. Very helpful. Knows his stuff. He's brilliant. Be prepared for random quizzes. They will affect your grade dramatically.
