He is by far one of the best professor I have ever had!!!! His lectures are easy to understand and are quite entertaining. He has a very dry sense of humor, which makes for a great lecture.

This man is not a very good teacher. He does not teach any material in lecture. You have to teach yourself or have the TA teach you. His slideshows are useless and he can only operate the iClickers about half the time. He only holds office hours by appointment, He answers questions very poorly in class. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH HIM AS PROFESSOR!

Does not explain clickers, doesn't think notes are necessary during his lectures, mumbles, lecture slides are incomprehensible (according to my TA)

Comment:
Extremely boring, skips though the slides too fast, and doesn't really explain anything. Talks in a dull monotone that makes you want to fall asleep, I usually do other homework in his class. The textbook is next to useless, you will have to rely on your TA to teach the material.

Not a good professor at all. He switches lecture slides too fast so that noone has time to copy them, in addition to not clearly explaining complex concepts. My gTA essentially taught me all of 241.

like many others have said, this guy cant get his demonstrations to work. he's also a monotonous individual and doesn't do anything when other people are talking during lecture.

He tries to drawn some kind of interest in the material with his demonstrations, even though he wasnt good at making them work. Makes it interesting enough to not fall asleep.

Boring lecturer, just reads notes and doesn't explain concepts well. never got an experiment to work the first time. clicker questions were tricky at times, but he usually explained them well afterwards.

Cannot get an experiment right. once he gave the clicker question about 15-20 minutes before class ended. after everyone answered, a lecture hall of >100 students left before he finished his slide show as he was attempting yet another experiment... awful prof

He lectures straight from the lecture notes (available online). He doesn't put any attitude or personality into his lectures. He also doesn't teach what we need to know to get the homework done right. I rely on my TA for that.
