He is a wonderful teacher. Uploads all his notes from class, gives study guides, study review sessions, and lets you make sure your homework is correct before you turn it in. He really helps you learn the material and will curve tests if they aren't good. I got an A in the course and would DEFINITELY take it again.

Dr. Malmgren is a very good accounting professor. He never used a textbook and I know why I get lost in this class. I always used book and did problems in the book instead of his Workbook, which is much easy than the textbook.

Great professor. Goes over problems out of his workbook for entire class period. These are the concepts that he tests on. 3 Test and 1 Final. Final can replace at least one low test grade. Homework solutions are on course reserves website. Taking again for ACCT-3312. Try to get him if you can. Tries to make accounting not boring.

Dr. Malmgren is an Asset to the Accounting Dept. He is a great teacher and knows his stuff. If you attend class and listen to him you will not only learn loads but will find the tests a piece of cake. He is fair and always ready to help. Extremely organized too. I would take him again and again.

This professor is great in the fact that he goes over problems from start to end of each class. He explains what he is doing over and over which gets boring but if you can stay awake, you will understand and pass. There is really no need for the $200 book, but definitely buy the problem sets. Do all the homework and problems in class.

Good professor. I didn't like him at first because all he did was problems from the workbook, but after the first test, I noticed that the problems are almost identical to the workbook problems done in class. So he is teaching you EXACTLY what he is going to test you on. A "B" is easily attainable if you learn the problems he teaches you.

Dr. M does incredible job of reducing very difficult material into smaller, more easily understood portions. Class time is primarily spent doing the problems from his workbook. Plenty of people complain about this, but repetition is the best way to learn this material. Overall a very good professor.

This man can NOT teach. Dr. Cathey should be teaching this class instead. Malmgren doesn't explain concepts. Sure, the tests are easy but I had to teach myself. It baffles me as to why so many people rave about him. Forget using the book for clarification after he has confused you during class. He is only friendly to students who are baseball fans.
