She was really engaging and very knowledgeable about her standards and encourages participation. She has her favorites for participation, but most of the markings are done by TAs, so I don't think she was particularly hard. She was also really nice to us, I don't recall any moment where she was being scary.

Does not care about 99% of students, favors the 1% who get it immediately. Class experience is useless, frequently terrifying. Simply takes up problems in class, with no ability to explain concepts. Usually angry, and has no sense of humor. Mildly prejudiced. Steep marking schemes make exams a toss up. Overqualified and bitter RUN. FAST.

Hands down worst prof I've ever hard. Unhelpful, unfair and just plain rude. Worst experience ever! Avoid at all costs! Her midterms are completely unfair. Absolutely no part marks are given. It's all or nothing...usually nothing. Absolutely horrible. I repeat AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

She definitely knows her stuff, explains very well in class, and is helpful outside of classes. But, she never teaches, only takes up problems in class, expecting us to know everything before hand. And her arrogant attitude ticks people off. Also, a very hard marker... Midterm averaged 75%. Avoid her if you can, unless you're a keener.
