Honestly, you just have to work hard to do well in Prof Mahant's class. If you never go to class or make an effort to read your textbook then you'll obviously be unlikely to get a good grade. She provides good feedback if you ask her for it; it's not difficult to understand her -- you just have to pay attention in class!

I took American Foreign Policy- can't remember the course code? She's a nice prof. She does not take attendance but expects to see you there. She is VERY knowledgeable and passionate about her work. And she loves to go off on tangents. She is sometimes difficult to understand, so listen closely!

Yes, her English is hard to understand at time, but you get used to it. Geez, how many people here are POLYGLOTS? The lady is brilliant, fair and she cares a lot about us. She even bought krispy Kreme to celebrate the end of the exams. Give me Mahant anytime.
