She is a crazy, cute old French lady (for example: Partner work is work with "friendy-friendy") She wants you to succeed, and therefore she pushes you hard. Prior knowledge of French is probably a good thing, because she works through the material quickly.

Okay, boys stay away, she doesn't like you. Very ****. She seems mean, but you just have to brown-nose a little. Gives an insane amount of homework, but do it, it's all that's on the test--same questions usually. If you like her she will like you, and she marks fair.

She has a tough personality, tough marker, but easy tests. At first she seemed scary, but once you prove you do your homework, she is much more enjoyable. She is a tough teacher because languages require stern discipline, and I have taken many other language courses, and her personality is common.
