One of the better professors I've had, made learning the dry material a lot more fun. There are quizzes every day but as long as you are there for the classes it shouldn't be too hard. He does allow extra credit and will drop the lowest quiz/test grade.

Look if you're an English Major this isn't the class for you. I honestly didn't learn much in this class but it was an easy A. He is extremely picky and has very strange little rules but if you follow them you'll be fine. Pop quizzes all the time and one 7 page research paper that isn't all that bad. Again learned nothing but easy A.

You know.. I had this guy back in 2004. Yes, his dreaded research paper... If you just follow what he says, do what he says, you will get an A. It's not that bad. At FIU I had to do a 75 page paper, big difference from his 7 page paper! If you want to learn and you know how to follow rules, he is a breeze.

The worst professor in the history of academia. Almost never shows up for work and won't warn you he's not coming so you show up for nothing or you have a sub nearly every class. Doesn't keep track of your grade (up to you to keep all graded material) and doesn't communicate with students through email or phone. WORST PROFESSOR EVER! STAY AWAY.

Horrible professor, extreamely disorganized, unrealiable and doesn't care if you fail or pass.Doesn't show up to class sometimes, his way of grading is different and thefinal research paper he assigns (7 pages long) he barely glanced at it, still failed me. Worst professor i've had at dade by far.

You read short stories and then take a short quiz the next class, be on time or you miss it. The stories are interesting, he's a nice person! and he cares, he has health issues and cant provide more time besides that in class. It's an easy A, make sure to complete the research paper, he goes over every step clearly. It was a good class.

He's an easy A, but a really bad teacher. He's really rude and doesn't teach you anything. He rambles and it's hard to understand him sometimes when he talks so fast. Plus you can't reach him ever since he has no phone/office hours.

First day of class there is a quiz. There is an easy quiz everyday right when class starts. Do not need the book, you can find all stories online. Everything in this class is typed, no in class writing other than the "1 word answer" quizzes. No group work crap. Easy class, but the midterm argument test is confusing. Take for an easy 1102.

An EXTREMELY easy class. All we would do was read stories and maybe get quizzed on them the next class. He has some health problems so he would be absent a few times. The class was an hour and 15 minutes, and he would usually keep us there for half an hour. Take him if you're looking for a very easy A.

Really, really funny guy. His class is a joke though. You won't learn much, if at all. He likes to go off topic a lot. Buy the book only for the reading quizzes. The stories are really weird and can be hard to understand at times. Take him, it's impossible to fail.
