watch out, geologists this one's a hurricane. Just try to locate the eye of the storm and stay in it. From the get-go you'll have study and understand concepts from the weather stations. It's stormy outside.

The worst professor I've ever seen! Ruined my GPA! Makes his lectures impossible to understand. Tests are very difficult even if you attend each class and study all lectures and textbook. Avoid him!

Great person and professor BUT he makes it impossible for you to pass the class. He doesn't post his lecture powerpoints on blackboard so if you miss one day , you are already behind and won't understand anything the next class meeting. If you decide to skip class know that by only reading the book you won't pass bc it's dry and more confusing.

I had zero interest in meteorology but Dr. Aguado is very passionate about the subject and teaches with enthusiasm; I thoroughly enjoyed his class. The textbook is not at all mandatory but since natural sciences are not my strong suit, it was very helpful to me to review the material I didn't understand from the lecture in the book.

Okay honestly this class was a challenge for me. However it is doable to pass. Dr. Aguado is helpful in office hours. Lectures are not posted on blackboard so it is mandatory to show up. There are 3 non-cumulative exams which are consisted of his lectures and a term paper. Lecture can be dry though. However, professor can be funny at times.

Avoid at all cost!! I am a Poli-Sci Major and did not need this class. The material is boring, and when entering grades, this guy will act as if you have not done the work. l am a Super Senior with 4 classes left to graduate, and this guy is trying to give me a non passing grade !!! I am in the process of grieving him. Awful waste of time!!

Really interesting class. If you study you'll do well, if you don't study and don't kisten in class you will do badly. Professor is an expert in his field and also is a nice funny guy who is passionate about the subject. Definitely not an easy A but interesting and well rewarding if you study.

The class was not easy. I am very interested in the subject and payed attention through the lectures but still; the tests! Difficult because he did not provide a study guide. We were forced to study pretty much everything that was lectured. We had a good idea of what the essay questions would be about but still, very vague.

He doesn't use blackboard, so you don't know your grade, no lecture slides, & he doesn't even give a study guide in class meaning there was always a surprise on the tests. There's three tests & a term paper all worth a lot. The tests are not multiple choice, but essays and short answers. So if you don't know it you are done, & no cells phones. BAD

Aguado is one of the most amazing professors i have had. Office hours are helpful I didn't have a book, just studied the lectures and got a C loved this class because i love weather. Take it.

This class is not easy. I was really interested in the subject before i took the class and it was still hard. Unless you are really interested in the subject. Or like to read textbooks alot. Then take it. I got an A but only because of the curve. He is a nice guy just a difficult class

Decent professor. He really knows his stuff about the subject but his methods are a little different. The class is not very organized but you do eventualy learn eveything you need to. He's really easy to talk to and has a lot of office hours. Pretty much gives you a "practice test" which is usually last semester's test

This guy is mediocre. His lectures were boring, and hard to follow. IF you take him, go to his office hours. 3 tests, non comprehensive final. I would suggest not taking him but if you get stuck with him, go to all the lectures, and go to his office hours, he is very nice and helpful. OH, btw, dont buy the book.

great guy! he was really nice, loves what he teaches, i really liked his class. don't buy the textbook though. we didn't use it. he was a hard grader, but if you show up and ask questions if he moves too fast, you will do fine. i recommend.

absolutely rediculous...this teacher has no method of teaching. he flip flops around in his hundred dollar textbook, make you want to fall asleep in class, is colorblind, and most of all...you dont know what to expect on the tests. biggest waste of time, not to mention this guy definitely is a lurk
