I took this as a computers in the fashion industry class, he knows nothing of the subject matter. He trys to be helpful and funny but it jsut comes off as creepy most the time. Easy work though. Lots of busy work.

This class makes you do the most busy work ever, which, if you like that then you should cruise. Matthews probably makes the strangest noise after every laugh that I have ever heard. So if you want to hear corny jokes you should take him. His laugh made the semester go by a lot easier. Also made it awkward at times.

I liked him and thought the class was easy enough. The assignments are straight out of the book. You only have a midterm and a final. If you finish your assignments early then you don't have to come to class! Good class to take if you just want to learn to us excel, word and power point, cause that's all we did.

His projects are easy but the test are impossible. They do not even go with the book. He is a fun and helpful teacher and always responds to e-mail questions quickly. He knows a lot about computers so he can lose the class without realizing it. Pay attention and ask questions!

The class should have been easy, but tests were hard. While Matthews was a fun teacher, he did nothing to prepare us for his tests, which he didn't warn us about either. I ended up having a lower GPA then I would have liked because I barely earned a B because I wasn't prepared for a pop-midterm. Also, anything less than a 94% was a B.

Dr. Matthews is a great professor. He has a very interesting sense of humor that keeps his class interesting. Class consists of doing problems out of the book...which is great because there is very little homework. He is more than willing to help outside of class, and his tests are easy if you understand the homework. I highly recommend him!

Dr Matthews is a very... unique individual. He's got the weirdest laugh and very corny jokes. If you can get through those with out slitting your wrists, and you can teach yourself stuff... it's easy. He "lectures" over the chapters...but not really? The lab assistant is more help than he was. But CSC is an easy class.

Very goofy teacher! Seems to load attention on females in class. Lousy with explanations-maybe because he doesn't know his own stuff? Spends a lot of time buying items of a sexual nature on Ebay- why would he tell us that? Easy class, but don't expect to learn much if you take it!

SUPER nice man. Strange and goofy sense of humor but will keep you smiling. Very willing to work with students and shows compassion, patience, and understanding. You actually have to DO work (lol), but if you have to work this is a great professor to do the work for.

As long as you go to class and turn in your assignments this class is fine. Some of the assignments are hard and you pretty much teach yourself. His student teacher helps a lot though. I had this class 3 times a week and I will say that when I got sick, he was very understanding and tells you not to come when you're sick.

This guy is awesome! He cares sooo much about the students. He asks how your weekend was!! Lots of on-your-own work. I really learned alot, despite the easy level of the class. His jokes are a riot.especially when no one(except yourself)catch them! that makes all the more better! Highly recommended!
