He's tough but he's fair, pay attention and keep good notes and you'll be fine. Follow the textbook as well since he can go out of order. If you fall behind you may be in trouble, but he's definitely willing to help.

Worst class I have taken so far in college. Dont take it you will work your ass off and chances are you'll fail anyway. Schmidt purposely tries to confuse students he flys through all the material and makes you feel like a complete dumbass whenever you ask a question. Tests are as hard as he can possibly make them and designed to trick you.

HORRIBLE TEACHER! A complete ***whipe who would rather call you dumb in class than help you understand. When handing out the test he makes rude comments about your grade loud enough for the whole class to hear. By FAR the worst professor I have ever met. If he didnt have Tenor I would do everything in my poser to get him canned.

Read the book, take loads of notes in class, and try to participate. You might want to brush up on algebra, too. It really does help. Oh, and don't sleep in class. He hates that. Overall, not too hard to get through if you do the work.

He doesn't really teach he just rambles about one problem in every class and then when he gives you the test he hasn't covered half of the material on it. Read the text and the study guides in the notebook and you'll be fun, though its easier said than done.

If you know what you're doing, he's pretty good but expects too much from micro econ students. You basically have to teach yourself and hope for the best. He also likes to put you on the spot if he has an inkling that you don't know the answer. I never dre
