You can't really understand what he says, since he says things like "trice Q" for 3Q, or "gerro" for zero. But other than that, his work on the board is very understandable and clear. He takes a lot of his exam questions from his practice and assignments, but don't rely solely on that because he can change it up on you.

He's hard to understand but his work on the board is clear. Assignments are straightforward. Midterms and final exam were super easy, lots of questions taken straight from the assignments and the practice questions he posts.

Ehsan Latif has to be one of the worst professors I've ever had. He's inarticulate and unable to describe the concepts of Macroeconomics in a clear fashion. His class is a joke. You could learn more by reading a text book on your own. He is utterly frustrating and infuriating. Avoid his class like the Plague!

LATIF is the MAN! Notes are so beautiful. Don't judge a book by it's cover. You might like him in the first couple of classes because he is a dork, but don't switch classes cause he is spectacular. Explains clearly and simply. He stops to ask if anyone has a question and will repeat until it is in your brain! Take his class! You won't regret it!

Latif is very very organized. He writes out his notes clearly and explains slowly so everyone is on the same page. BUEC 233 is a difficult course to begin with, but he makes it elementary easy. He hands out many examples.He hands out assignments before the midterm so you can find out where you have trouble in the course.

Great teacher, makes a confusing course super easy with his weekly assignments. It help you realize any mistake you're making ahead of exam time. He doesn't have the best English but a lot of teachers could learn from his teaching style.

Half of the test questions come from the textbook. Very hard to understand, and doesn't understand most questions you ask him. The one assignment of the course was given to us one week before the end of the course. Lectures confused me even more, eventually I ended up just reading the text. I'd recommend you do the same. It is not a hard course.

DO NOT BUY THE TEXT BOOK! Yes, he has an accent but it makes no difference. His notes are clear and he gives plenty of examples and practice questions (handouts). Gives homework assignments. There is no surprises on the tests, they are easy. Don't expect him to understand you if you ask a question, ask someone else in the class instead.

A fantastic teacher; his notes are impeccable, he carefully explains the reasoning and concepts, works through numerous examples.. Amazingly organized and patient. I STRONGLY recommend him for stats.
